YWCA Greater Pittsburgh, in partnership with Women Against Abusive Relationships (WAAR), invites community members, professionals, educators, employers, service providers, and anyone interested in building safer communities to join us for this special Week Without Violence 2026 training, presented as part of our Action Conversations series.
This training will be especially valuable for youth-serving employers, educators, community organizations, service providers, and anyone interested in creating safer, more supportive environments for young people. Whether you work directly with youth, support families and communities, or simply want to learn more, this conversation offers information and strategies that anyone can benefit from.
Participants will gain practical knowledge and resources for recognizing and addressing gender-based violence affecting young people, uplifting youth voices, strengthening prevention efforts, and helping build communities where everyone can thrive.
This training is designed as an in-person experience to encourage learning, networking, and collaboration among participants. A virtual attendance option is also available for individuals who would like to participate but are unable to attend in person.
